American R&B/Funk band L.T.D. is best known for their hit single "(Every time I turn around) Back in love again." Though we all love the familiar soulful expression of Jeffrey Osborne, Twin Cities music fans are chomping at the bit to hear our own JayBee perform it with L.T.D.
When Musicapolis asked Minnesota icon Charles Hayes (A.K.A. "Mista Chalee") about his thoughts on JayBee filling Osborne's shoes he said: "That sounds like a perfect match. No disrespect to Jeffrey, but I've shared the stage with JayBee for at least a couple of decades, and I've witnessed him cover hundreds of artists. I think L.T.D. better get some bigger shoes!
When Musicapolis asked Mista Chalee about a rumor that he is producing JayBee's next album he happily confirmed the rumor to be true. When we asked him about a release date he said "Who knows? JayBee is already the hardest working man in show business.
Adding L.T.D. to his calendar might delay things for a while, but these days we don't have to be in the same physical space. because technology is on our side".
